There’s no better place to be during the holidays than right in the heart of the city, and this year The Hop is once again proud to contribute to the festive atmosphere in downtown Milwaukee. Our “Holidays on The Hop” initiative, back for a third season, is bigger and better than ever, featuring a new live music series on board the streetcars, holiday cookie giveaways, decorated streetcar stations, and a wrapped streetcar supporting the Salvation Army of Milwaukee County’s holiday fundraising efforts.
‘Holidays on The Hop’ is highlighted this year by a new music series featuring live, holiday-themed performances right on board the streetcar. At each event streetcar riders will also be treated to free holiday cookies, generously provided by Boost by Pick ‘n Save Fresh Perks.

Beginning Friday, Nov. 18, all 18 of our streetcar shelters will be decorated with holiday décor and messaging from some of our wonderful Milwaukee partners, and thanks to Salvation Army of Milwaukee County, one of our streetcars will be wrapped in a holiday-themed display. Be sure to check them all out on your next downtown visit.
