Track access permit

All contractors needing to perform work along the streetcar route are required to apply for a Streetcar Alignment Access Request (SAAR) permit. SAAR permits can be applied for online at the link below, and no work can begin until the permit request is approved.

Additionally, any contractors applying for a SAAR permit for the first time will also be required to complete The Hop’s Roadway Worker Protection Program before conducting any work along the alignment. Training sessions are typically offered once per month and can be scheduled by contacting Marcus Darden at marcus.darden@transdev.com. A Roadway Worker Protection Program certification is valid for one year.
