Parking

Downtown Milwaukee has thousands of parking spaces, from paid ramps to surface lots to metered (and in some cases free) street parking. To reduce traffic congestion, downtown visitors are always encouraged to park once and utilize other options (like The Hop!) to travel within the downtown area.

In addition to the public ramps and lots highlighted in the map above, there is street parking along the majority of the streetcar route. When parking along the route, make sure your entire vehicle, including side mirrors, is inside the striping on the road, and use caution when opening doors as vehicles, bikes or streetcars could be approaching from behind you. Never park your vehicle on the streetcar tracks, even temporarily.
